Arrival and Dismissal Information

CAR RIDERS:

For the safety of our students, please refrain from being on your cell phone in the car rider line. In addition, please note that all RHSD Properties are tobacco free. (This includes e-cigarettes and vapes). It is also imperative that all cars remain in the line of traffic. For those drivers who wish to exit using Rawlinson Rd., please use the right lane. For those drivers who wish to exit using Heckle Blvd., please use the left lane.

All drop-offs must occur in the car rider line. Students are not allowed to be dropped off in the parking lot. There will be strict enforcement of this rule.

Safety Patrol members will be on site daily to assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles. If you are not dropping off in our car line, and wish to walk your child to the crosswalk, you MUST park in a parking space and not utilize the no parking zones. For the safety of our students, they may not cross the parking lot without parental supervision. To ensure the safe dismissal of our students, drivers are required to present/display a school issued car tag displaying the name of the student(s) that they are picking up. Families will be provided with 2 car tags. Additional car tags are available in the school’s main office for $1.

 If you do not have the appropriate car tag, please park and come into the office to sign the student(s) out. We appreciate your understanding that the school will not release students to any car without the proper car rider tag. If you need to come inside the school, please park in a parking space. Please do not block the driveway while waiting for or dropping off students.

There will be no pickups after 1:45pm. If your child(ren) has/have not been picked up by 2:35 pm, you will need to come to the office and sign them out
