Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Old Pointe Elementary!

We are proud to introduce ourselves as part of your child’s Student Support Team—a dedicated group of professionals committed to supporting the success, growth, and well-being of every student. Our team works closely with teachers, families, and school leadership to ensure that every child receives the academic, social, and emotional support they need to thrive.

Here’s a little bit about what we do:

• Behavior Support & Management Team – We help create a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment by promoting positive behavior, restorative practices, and individualized support when challenges arise.

• Dean of Students – Focused on student engagement, attendance, and positive school culture, the Dean supports both students and families in navigating any issues that may affect learning or well-being.

• Multilingual Learner (MLL) Specialists – We support students who are learning English by providing language instruction, academic assistance, and celebrating the rich diversity of our multilingual community.

• Academic Interventionists – We work with students who may need extra help in reading, math, or other subject areas, using targeted strategies and small-group instruction to close gaps and build confidence.

• Literacy Coach – I collaborate with teachers to strengthen literacy instruction and ensure that every student is developing strong reading and writing skills—foundations for lifelong learning.
