Marletta Webb

Hello! My name is Marletta Webb, and I’m so happy to be part of the Old Pointe community, helping students grow and thrive academically. I was born and raised in the St. Louis metro area and earned my doctorate (Ed.D.) from Nova Southeastern University. I’ve been in education for 24 years, teaching in Illinois, New Jersey, and now starting my 6th year here at Old Pointe.

After several great years teaching 3rd grade, I’m excited to be working with 5th graders this year. In addition to teaching, I’m also the Program Director for the Be Great Academy, where I enjoy supporting students beyond the school day through engaging and meaningful activities.

Outside of school, I love to read and run as a way to relax and recharge. I come from a big family—I’m #10 out of 12 children—and I have a twin sister named Maretta. My husband and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary, and we’re proud parents of two amazing young adults: our daughter Ryan, a Rutgers University Human Resources graduate , and our son Bryce, who will graduate from the United States Naval Academy next year! I’m looking forward to an exciting and rewarding school year!
