Dr. Marletta Webb
Hello! My name is Dr. Marletta Webb, and I’m so happy to be part of the Old Pointe community, helping students grow and thrive academically. I was born and raised in the St. Louis metro area and earned my doctorate (Ed.D.) from Nova Southeastern University. I have been in education for 25 years, teaching in Illinois, New Jersey, and now beginning my 7th year at Old Pointe Elementary.
This is my second year teaching 5th grade after spending six wonderful years teaching 3rd grade. I’m excited to continue preparing students for middle school and helping them build the confidence and skills they need for future success. In addition to teaching, I serve as the Program Director for the Be Great Academy, where I enjoy supporting students beyond the school day through engaging and meaningful activities. Outside of school, I love reading and running as a way to relax and recharge. I come from a big family—I’m #10 of 12 children—and I have a twin sister named Maretta. My husband and I recently celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary, and we are proud parents of two amazing young adults: our daughter, Ryan, a Rutgers University Human Resources graduate, and our son, Bryce, who proudly graduated from the United States Naval Academy, Class of 2026.
I’m looking forward to another exciting year of learning, growth, and helping every student be their very best!
